We are expanding our team at Pyramid Analytics, and we are looking for an additional technical writer to join the team.
The ideal candidate should be a creative, responsible, versatile person with a strong technical understanding and experience working in technological companies.
Typical Duties Include:
- Compose technical content for our Online Help Guide
- Collaborate with R&D, Support, and Marketing to learn about the product and new features
- Edit existing content to make sure it is up-to-date and accurate
- Write functional documentation (APIs and code examples)
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of technical writing experience
- Native English speaker–required
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Experience with high-tech companies–required
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the BI industry or a related field
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence–preferable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to explain complex technical concepts concisely
- Familiarity with MadCap–preferable
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-stress start-up environment and deal with multiple projects and deadlines
